What Is ZipLyft™?
ZipLyft™ uses patented CoCo (Compression Contouring) technology — a zipper-lock compression mechanism that closes the incision without sutures or cautery, eliminating the primary causes of traditional blepharoplasty bruising, bleeding, and downtime.
Developed by fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeons with over 30,000 combined eyelid procedures, ZipLyft™ is the first device of its kind — FDA-cleared and now available right here in Waco at Brazos Eye Surgery of Texas.
CoCo™ Technology
Zipper-lock compression closes the wound — no sutures, no cautery, virtually no bleeding.
15-Minute Procedure
In-office efficiency. No hospital check-in, no OR time, no IV sedation.
Natural, Symmetric Results
Youthful and refreshed — not overdone. Friends notice a difference; they can't explain why.
Proven Expertise
Performed by our fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon with deep eyelid anatomy knowledge.

The Data Case for ZipLyft™
Traditional blepharoplasty is effective — but the recovery experience has always been its weakness. Clinical evidence and surgeon outcomes data make a compelling case for the ZipLyft™ approach.
vs. 60–90 min for traditional blepharoplasty — same aesthetic outcome, fraction of the chair time
Surgeons and patients consistently report significantly reduced bruising vs. traditional technique
Traditional recovery: 2–4 weeks of visible bruising and swelling before social confidence returns
Eliminates anesthesia risk, anesthesia cost, and the pre-op fasting protocol entirely

Common Questions
Am I a candidate for ZipLyft™?
Most adults with excess upper eyelid skin causing a tired, heavy, or aged appearance are potential candidates. During your consultation, we evaluate eyelid anatomy, skin laxity, and your aesthetic goals to confirm candidacy. The device fits approximately 90% of patient anatomies.
Is ZipLyft™ painful?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Patients consistently report minimal discomfort. Most describe the experience as easier than expected.
How long do ZipLyft™ results last?
Results are long-lasting. While aging continues naturally after any eyelid procedure, most patients enjoy their refreshed appearance for many years. Traditional upper blepharoplasty typically lasts 5–7+ years; ZipLyft™ delivers equivalent anatomical correction using a less invasive technique.
Can ZipLyft™ address eyelid drooping (ptosis)?
ZipLyft™ is designed for excess upper eyelid skin (dermatochalasis). Ptosis — where the lid margin itself droops — requires a Mueller's muscle procedure, which we also offer. During consultation, we will differentiate which condition (or combination) you have.
What about fat removal?
Fat removal can be performed through a small stab incision prior to ZipLyft™ placement when clinically indicated.
Will there be a visible scar?
The incision follows the natural lid crease, minimizing visibility. Scar appearance continues to improve over time. Most patients find the result indistinguishable from a natural eyelid fold.
NIH-Published Minimally Invasive Eyelid Lift Data
A 2025 PMC/NIH-published study on minimally invasive eyelid lift techniques reported an average surgery time of 33.9 minutes with notably quicker recovery than traditional blepharoplasty — with 48.6% of cases completed in under 30 minutes. ZipLyft™ targets under 15 minutes.
